Penile cancer

Any growth over the penis needs biopsy and then surgery, if proven to be cancerous.

CIRCUMCISION

A simple removal foreskin is needed if the disease is limited to the foreskin.

PARTIAL PENECTOMY

This procedure involves removal of small segment of penis with the mass, preserving some length of the penis. It is suitable for patients with smaller masses and longer phallus.

TOTAL PENECTOMY

This procedure is best suited for larger masses over penis.

ADJUVANT TREATMENT.

Once the nature of the disease is characterized by the pathology report, the patient may need surgery in the groin region to remove the residual disease or he may need chemotherapy.
