Varicocele

Testicle need lower temperature then the core body temperature for sperm formation. However, a patient with varicocele has accumulation, and poor clearance of blood around the testicles. This leads to the rise of testicular temperature and adversely affects the sperms and in turn fertility.

Microsurgical Varicocelectomy

Using microscopic vision, the small blood channels are ligated and divided around the testicles. A tiny skin incision is needed. This procedure can be done under local anesthesia or general anesthesia, and patient can resume his routine activities the same day or the next day.
