Hydrocele

Build-up of fluid around the testes can lead to testicular swelling. This is usually harmless and needs treatment only if large or patient is bothered. Rarely it may be because of testicular infection or cancer. You must consult a urologist to find out the cause.

HYDROCELECTOMY

In this procedure, a small skin incision is made, and fluid is drained, eversion is done inside to prevent the recurrence of this condition. It may be done under local or general anesthesia. Patient may resume routine activities in 2 to 3 days.
